Our client, a leading medical equipment supplier, is seeking a technically minded Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team, covering the Southampton area.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring all customer equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Please note - Full, Clean driving license is required due to nature of job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on-site.
2. Complete service documentation and prepare reports for additional work or spare parts.
3. Assist in organising and prioritising all fieldwork types effectively.
4. Schedule jobs with customers, ensuring timely completion.
5. Report real-time job status updates promptly.
6. Maintain a clean, tidy, and roadworthy service vehicle.
7. Provide detailed activity reports to the Operations Manager.
About You:
1. A tactful, diplomatic, and communicative approach to customer interactions.
2. A strong technical mindset with good coordination skills.
3. Previous engineering experience in a similar role.
4. Proficiency with IT systems.
5. A clean driving licence is mandatory.
The Package:
1. Competitive salary of up to £38,000pa DOE.
2. A home-based role with travel to customer sites as required.
3. All tools and a fully equipped service vehicle provided.
4. Monday to Friday working hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
