Responsibilities include; Collaborate with the Pre-Construction team to lead the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects within the Wales Region, with an emphasis on a Major Civil framework. This includes working on a diverse range of wastewater projects, from sewage networks to treatment works of varying scales, spanning all phases from initial concept through to construction. Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across Civil, Structural, MEPICA, Health and Safety, Sustainability, Environmental, and Planning teams to develop integrated and innovative solutions. The successful individual with drive the technical delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects, leading multidisciplinary technical teams to create value-driven solutions that address client challenges across the entire design lifecycle. Whilst engaging with internal and external stakeholders to secure buy-in for proposed solutions, fostering collaboration between internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners to deliver buildable and high-quality technical outcomes. Essential Experience in all aspects of civil engineering projects from either design or contracting background A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g. civil, electrical, mechanical) and/or equivalent experience. Clear understanding of the commercial requirements of delivering complex multidisciplinary design and build projects and an appreciation of delivery risk. Desirable Experience in undertaking feasibility studies, options appraisal and concept design, and/or outline and detailed design for water company clients and design and build contractors. Broad knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Process). Chartered or Incorporated with a relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM, or working towards it. Temporary work experience Prior experience working on wastewater projects. The role will be site-based, or office-based with the flexibility to accommodate some remote working
