Project Manager – MEP
Based in Bridgwater Business Park.
Long term contract
Project Manager - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC background. Multi-discipline EPCM Projects.
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction tasks for your assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Secure project resources and address any staffing issues.
2. Support the Senior Project Manager with strategies and plans in line with the project goals.
3. Maintain communication with stakeholders and follow project strategies.
4. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
5. Manage risks, resolve issues, and report progress to stakeholders.
6. Create and maintain schedules, making sure they align with the overall Project plan.
7. Document lessons learned and apply best practices.
8. Support the product qualification process and supply chain strategy.
Skills & Experience
1. Strong leadership and communication skills.
2. Knowledge of project management tools and CDM Regulations.
3. Engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies for project delivery.
4. Multi-discipline EPCM Projects.
5. Working knowledge and management experience of construction activities.
6. Procurement and management of complex contracts.
7. Control of costs, risk, schedule, and change.
8. Management of commercial claims and associated negotiation experience.
9. Familiarity with nuclear quality standards.
10. A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
11. Project management qualification (APM PPQ) is a plus.
12. Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and manage risks in a regulated environment.
Rate of pay is an all-inclusive day rate up to £540, depending on pay route.
