Registered Children’s Home Manager Permanent Opportunity Manchester, full time Up to £53,000 £11,000 in bonuses per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Private Residential Provider in Manchester for a Registered Children’s Home Manager for a brand new 6x bed Residential Home. You will report to the Responsible Individual and the key focus of this role will be to recruit staff for the Home and organise referrals to fill the Home. The Home is currently being set up with Ofsted, and this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the company. About your duties as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: To lead and manage the development and shaping of the home, ensuring dynamic plans for the children and young people. Safeguarding and promotion of well-being for those who reside within the home. Ensuring the home complies with the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) Ensuring that the staff have training and development opportunities to enable them to be fully skilled within their fields and understand what Ofsted “Good” looks like. Your experience needed as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: Must have a Level 5 Children’s Home Management Qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Proven track record as a Children’s Home Manager over a few years. Must know what “Good” looks like within a Home setting. Obtained either a “Good” or “Outstanding” grade with Ofsted previously in a Residential setting. Experience of setting up a Children’s Home from scratch is desirable.
