I am looking for an individual to support my 22yr old son to enable him access social activities in the community and increase independence. He has learning disabilities and autism, and lacks capacity in which I hold Lasting power of Attorney (LPA) for. He can demonstrate challenging behaviours at times and is noise sensitive (wears ear defenders). He currently attends day services in Boston for 4 days a week so am looking for someone who could collect him from the day centre 2 days a week and take him out for tea and then bring him home. In addition to this we would like the successful candidate to support him to access some social activities/trips at the weekend - this could include trips to the cinema, going to Baytree Garden Centre, going into town as he enjoys looking charity shops and potentially attending a Comic-con as he is a keen 'Transformers' fan. Specific times and days will be discussed at interview.
