Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties will include: Supporting students to access and engage with teacher-led curriculum and learning activities. Assisting with the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans. Providing support in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. Assisting with personal care, attending to hygiene needs, and administering medication as required. Collaborating with teaching and senior class staff to create a supportive learning environment. Encouraging independence and promoting self-esteem among students.
