You'll work across the whole portfolio and manage third party resources to deliver robust testing coverage, detection and defect resolution."Please note this is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working at our office in Bradley Stoke (BS32 4QQ) or another NRS site a minimum of two days per week.Key DeliverablesDevelop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for projectsLead and manage the software testing cycle, ensuring high-quality software delivery.Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and test data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, business analysts and third party testing resources, to ensure seamless integration and testing of software applications.Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.Provide regular reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to senior management.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.Provide training and mentorship to team members.Qualifications & ExperienceProfessional certification in software testing e.g., ISTQB, CSTE (desirable).In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (essential).Demonstrable experience of manual software testing, working with a range of stakeholders (essential).Experience in the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry (desirable).Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (desirable).Experience in developing and executing test plans for complex software systems (essential).Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (essential). #INDORBenefits PackageNuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS) staff should refer to the document titled “Spot Point v Grade alignment” available on SharePoint for more information on how the grade structure aligns to Spot Points.Flexible working – where possible.The equivalent of 25 days (185 hours per year) annual leave plus Public Holidays (59.2 hours per year). You also have the option to buy or sell the equivalent of 5 days (37 hours) annual leave each year (available in specific windows for the following holiday year).
