Description Deputy Manager, Cyber, COG The Deputy Manager for Cyber will support the delivery of underwriting results and operational standards across all regions of Chubb Overseas General (COG) Cyber. They will also drive the strategy and implementation for growing the Cyber Practice across all regions and segments. Primary Objectives: Coordinating with the Global Cyber Product team to effectively implement and drive growth in Cyber across all COG regions. Coordinating with the Industry Practice Managers to ensure consistency in maintained with strategy where cyber is part of the product offering. Coordinating with Global Cyber Product team in updating and implementing Cyber underwriting guidelines, appetites, rating manuals, and product summaries. Work with Global Cyber Product team to lead product development, manage WASP process and update policy wordings. Coordinating with Cyber Risk Engineering/Threat Intelligence and Cyber Innovation Officer to effectively localise the cyber service proposition and ensuring the underwriters in field have the requisite knowledge to market these locally. Ensure the strategy is successfully executed and cyber services are delivered across geographic territories and customer segment. Development and deployment of technical training frameworks and leading content production for specialist underwriting knowledge. Support the COG Cyber EVP in additional L&D activities such as Case Study delivery/development, off the shelf materials and third-party content hosting. Support EVP Cyber and Technology, on reinsurance submissions, portfolio review process, and quarterly reporting. To include data preparation, working with Ceded Re, Committee presentations and interaction with Reinsurers and Treaty Brokers. Work with actuaries, modelling, data analytics and portfolio management teams to validate data. Manage and hold regional cyber managers to account for Data Integrity on the portfolio for cyber portfolio management purposes. Respond to referrals in major accounts and middle market as necessary across both Cyber and Technology. Control and deliver authority to line underwriters consistent with experience and expertise. Audit Support for COG Cyber and Technology audits. Manage cyber line of business Peer Review process and compliance. Participate with underwriters/product head as needed in major meetings with managers, brokers, and policyholders to negotiate coverage terms. Review manuscript policy and endorsement wording proposed by external parties (ie. brokers, underlying/coinsurance carriers, MGA’s, etc.). Assist Cyber with the marketing of Cyber product, in particular, in the form of panel discussions, white papers, and presentations and any other marketing needs and content delivery. Secondary Objectives: Support of the Cyber EVP in Internal Stakeholder management communications and delivery. Create Thought Leadership articles for Internal and External distribution. Collaboration with the insurance market, customers and Industry Associations where appropriate. Qualifications Ideally degree qualified with demonstrable experience in cyber insurance underwriting. Substantial experience with underwriting models, product development, manuscript drafting, or technical underwriting preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive collaborative relationships both within and across functional lines. Clear ability to manage autonomously in a highly matrixed environment. What can you expect in return?
