Who You Are You are an experienced social worker with a passion for mental health care, particularly within community settings. You possess strong organizational and communication skills and are committed to anti-discriminatory practice while promoting the rights of vulnerable adults. You have experience in adult mental health and can effectively collate information to produce reports suitable for legal processes such as Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Hearings. Ideally, you should either already fulfill the duties of an Approved Mental Health Professional/Best Interests Assessor or be eager to obtain the necessary qualifications. You are keen to expand your expertise in mental health social work, and you value support from your team and management, including regular clinical supervision. What the Job Involves This role involves working in Bexley Community Mental Health Teams, which encompasses the primary care mental health wellbeing hub, ICMP, and HTT. Your primary responsibilities will include completing and updating risk assessments, and working in compliance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983. You will be engaged in assessment, support planning, reviews, and safeguarding as defined by the Care Act 2014.
