973CW Project Manager (Electrical) Hinkley Point C, Somerset Permanent, Full-time £75,000 Annual Salary plus car and accommodation allowance Job Title: Project Manager (Electrical) Description & Background: The client is delivering the M&E fit-out of the Operations Service Centre (OSC) at Hinkley Point C. This nine-storey facility will house essential power station support functions including offices, medical centre, data centre, warehouse, workshops, labs, and canteen facilities, accommodating 350 workers once operational. We're seeking an experienced electrical project manager to execute the delivery of electrical packages through to final handover in this regulated nuclear environment. Principal Responsibilities: Execute delivery of electrical packages for the OSC building Lead the handover process and safety file completion Establish and oversee implementation of engineering systems and documentation Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and Company standards Drive innovative methods, materials selection, and safe systems of work Apply practical engineering principles and calculations Manage and coordinate delivery teams in a regulated environment Oversee quality control and technical compliance Required Qualifications & Experience: First degree in Engineering Discipline (Electrical), construction/design related degree, or industry recognized technical qualification (NVQ level 4) Demonstrated experience in design and construction delivery environment Previous project delivery experience on large highly regulated projects (MEP value £15m - 100m) Nuclear/Regulated Environment experience advantageous Proven ability to drive large-scale regulated projects Strong background in engineering systems and documentation control Salary, Location & Details: Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset Permanent, Full-time position £75,000 Annual Salary Car Allowance Accommodation Allowance This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a leading MEP contractor on one of Europe's largest nuclear construction projects.
