Job Description
Responsible for efficient, continuous, and reliable core infrastructure services and end user support. This Engineer works closely with the Director of O&I and peer IT operations technicians to maintain the organisation's diverse technology platforms and end user support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* A primary contact for London, Brussels & Asia staff for technical support, infrastructure, and service issues.
* Expertise in managing and maintaining workstations, servers, and support systems globally.
* Maintaining backups and disaster recovery processes as needed.
* Monitor system performance, implementing adjustments to enhance efficiency and uptime.
* Maintain and create user guides and technical documents to streamline processes.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will display the following:
* Skilled in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server with Active Directory in virtualized production environments.
* Strong expertise in Azure AD and Intune, including managing hybrid on-premises AD integrated with Azure AD.
* Proficient with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and VirtualBox.
* Experience working with the Microsoft technology stack.
* A technical background in supporting Windows Servers, Hyper-V, and networking.
* Hands-on experience with monitoring systems (Ideally PRTG).

* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and courteously.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must have exceptional time management skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
