The successful applicant will undertake disciplinary investigations as the lead investigator and be responsible for multiple cases at any one time. You will be able to plan and organise the investigation processes, ensuring the terms of reference are fully investigated and that witnesses are interviewed as soon as possible, and all relevant facts and information are gathered whilst communicating effectively with all staff members.
The successful applicant must be able to formulate high quality, objective and balanced reports and outcome letters based on a thorough analysis of the facts and present to a case conference or disciplinary hearing where required and as a witness to an Employment Tribunal if required.
Under the guidance of the Head of HR Performance and Planning and Senior HR Business Partners, the post holder is responsible for undertaking and completing formal disciplinary investigations and grievance procedures in accordance with HR Policies and Procedures and employment legislation.
The post holder will be responsible for the end-to-end investigation process, ensuring a high quality process is completed in a timely manner. A key part of the role is providing pro-active support to staff members to support wellbeing and ensuring cases are managed to HR key performance indicators. The Management Investigator will work to a terms of reference set by a Case Manager.
