Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver High-Quality Lessons – Provide engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity in the students' learning experience.
• Support Student Development – Follow the school’s curriculum and lesson plans, providing feedback on student progress to support their academic development.
• Maintain a Positive Learning Environment – Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive and supportive atmosphere for all students.
• Collaborate with Colleagues – Work closely with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to student learning and development.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – A recognised teaching qualification is required.
• Primary Teaching Experience – Prior experience in a primary school setting is essential.
• Strong Communication Skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with students and colleagues effectively.
• Enhanced DBS Check – A valid DBS check is required for safeguarding purposes.
• Curriculum Knowledge – A sound understanding of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies.
