Junior Analyst, eCommerce EUANZ

About the role
We are looking for a Junior E-commerce Analyst & Business Support to join our global e-commerce team. This role combines report building, data analysis, business support, and project coordination, requiring a proactive and adaptable professional who can work across multiple markets and teams.
You will be responsible for building the proper dashboards and reports for a proper eCommerce performance overview, identifying new business opportunities or threats, leading conversations with local teams, and ensuring consistency in processes, tools, and reporting across different markets.
This is a good opportunity to join a FTSE 100 FMCG company, be exposed to cross-functional teams and have a meaningful impact on the strategy and special projects of the company. The expectation is that after 2-3 years in the Global eCommerce Team, the Junior Analyst would have the options to progress within the team or move into a local market execution role (e.g., brand manager, account manager, insights manager etc.).
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
* Collect, analyse, and interpret e-commerce and market data to identify trends and business opportunities.
* Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and templates in Excel and other analytics tools (i.e. Power BI), sometimes in coordination with IT&D department.
* Generate actionable insights to optimize online sales and customer experience.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Act as a key point of contact for local market teams, leading discussions and ensuring alignment on priorities and initiatives.
* Support the creation of presentations and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Develop standardized templates and formats to streamline reporting and analysis across markets.
* Coordinate and provide support in the organization and execution of global training sessions for local e-commerce teams.
* Assist in content creation and training materials to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across regions.
* Research and evaluate new online clients, digital platforms, and emerging e-commerce trends that could represent business opportunities.
* Analyse market data to assess the potential impact of new platforms and recommend strategies for expansion.
* Collaborate with internal teams to explore partnerships and test new digital sales channels.
The experience we're looking for
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) and other data tools.
* Experience in Sales or Marketing in an FMCG or Consumer Health industry is a must.
* Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Amazon, Pacvue, or similar) is a plus.
* Hard working, enthusiastic go-getter mentality.
* Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating mindset.
* Ability to lead discussions with international teams and drive alignment on business strategies.
* Highly adaptable with a flexible mindset to thrive in a fast-changing global environment.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
