As the Assistant Recreation Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding recreational experiences for our guests. You will support the Recreation Manager in overseeing all recreational activities, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction, and managing a team of recreation staff. Your passion for hospitality and dedication to excellence will be key to enhancing the guest experience at our luxury resort.
You will also be responsible to:
1. Assist in the development, planning, and execution of recreational programs and activities that align with our luxury brand standards
2. Oversee daily operations of the recreation department, including scheduling, staff supervision, and resource management.
3. Collaborate with the Recreation Manager to create and implement engaging and innovative programs for guests of all ages
4. Ensure the highest standards of guest service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally
5. Manage and train recreation staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance and guest interaction
6. Monitor and maintain recreational facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-equipped
7. Work closely with other departments to coordinate special events, promotions, and guest activities
8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our recreational offerings
What We Need From You
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
1. Previous experience in a recreational management or supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort environment is preferred
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to recreational activities
