In this role, you will manage credit hire claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish. You’ll already know about insurance, liability, and indemnity, and may have worked in a similar credit hire role previously. As a confident communicator, you’ll be able to negotiate with third party organisations.What will I be doing? Investigating Claims: Conducting thorough investigations into liability and indemnity for each new claim, gathering all necessary evidence to determine the best course of actionNegotiating Settlements: Collaborating with a variety of external providers, including credit hire organisations, third-party insurers, and solicitors, to negotiate settlements where applicableManaging a Portfolio: Overseeing your own portfolio of claims, aiming to settle each case promptly and minimising the need for litigationMonitoring Claims: Continuously monitoring ongoing hire claims, intervening where possible to reduce costsFinancial Updates: Ensuring financial records accurately reflect our risk exposureStakeholder Liaison: Coordinating with credit hire organisations, third-party insurers, customers, and solicitors to negotiate claim settlements What do I need?Working knowledge of defending credit hire claimsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation skillsThe ability to prioritise workload by recognising the importance of each task whilst adhering to deadlinesAbility to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessaryPC literate with good administrative skills Additional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
