Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
* A 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
* A strong academic record with a passion for STEM education.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and challenge students.
* A desire to develop teaching skills, potentially progressing into teacher training.
* Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching) is desirable but not essential.
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
* Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role
* Earn up to £520 per week.
* Support GCSE and A-Level students in STEM subjects, helping them achieve top grades.
* Assist in practical science experiments, mathematical problem-solving, and technology-based projects.
* Work closely with teachers and subject leaders to enhance STEM learning.
* Provide targeted intervention sessions to boost attainment and confidence.
* Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only.
