What we are looking for: An important role, working within a team that delivers all of the ticketing, retail, fine dining and private box hospitality fulfilment and despatch for all Ascot Racedays and Royal Ascot, along with managing all inbound customer enquiries and Accessibility requests. With just under 200k tickets being sold across the Queen Anne Enclosure, Village Enclosure and Windsor Enclosure for Royal Ascot alone, coupled with The King George Weekend at the end of July and the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup in August which are two of our biggest racedays outside of Royal Ascot, the bulk of this role is to support with inbound customer enquiries, ticket and badge fulfilment and retail fulfilment. It is the duty of the Ticketing and Retail Executive to support the wider Ticketing and Retail team in the efficient and well run delivery of service to all customers in order to fulfil the administrative and fulfilment requirements for this department. You will have the ability to work well in a fast paced environment, under pressure and as part of a team. This is a full time, temporary role working primarily Monday to Friday from Monday 17 February 2025 to Saturday 18 October 2025. Your attendance on Saturday racedays will also be required. Due to the nature of this role, please note that extended lengths of annual leave will not be approved in the months of May and June. What you’ll be doing PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to customer enquiries via Zendesk in a timely manner whilst representing our company values. Assist with the dispatch of online Ascot Shop orders. Pack all printed tickets ready for dispatch, ensuring the full order and any additional upgrades or voucher exchanges have been completed accurately. Ensure all tickets are accompanied by the relevant enclosure/facility access badges. Using the Royal Mail OBA and Click and Drop solutions ensuring that all physical tickets and badges are dispatched in a timely manner. Occasional Reception support as and when required. Ensure all badges and collateral of value are kept recorded and locked away/secured at the end of every shift. Support the Ticketing and Retail team in the Ticket Offices and Shops on racedays as and when required. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Ticketing and Retail Team as required in the lead up to Royal Ascot. Such other duties as the Company may, at times, reasonably require. Skills and experience you can bring Excellent attention to detail. Accuracy at all times. A good understanding of address formats and postcodes, both UK and overseas. An understanding of the events industry and the rhythms in which this functions. Advanced IT skills, e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
