Engineering Project Manager - Automation (Warehouse)

I am currently looking to recruit an Engineering Project Manager to join my client based in Nottingham who is a leading system integrator and UK manufacturer.
Vacancy Description
My client is a global engineering service provider specialising in designing, manufacturing, developing, and delivering automated and intelligent engineering and software solutions that address disruption, optimise performance, and ultimately increase profitability across a variety of industries including e-commerce, distribution, parcel delivery, and manufacturing/food.
They are now looking for an Engineering Project Manager to help drive the business forward, taking projects from concept through to completion.
Core Responsibilities - Working in the Site Implementation team to:
1. Contribute to and drive sign-off of the overall project design, including the change management process.
2. Act as the customer of the build - managing the costs, timescales, and specification of the project.
3. Own the overall programme budget, challenging and agreeing workstream costs.
4. Manage the preparation and achievement of Programme Milestones.
5. Keep workstreams aligned and informed with progress.
6. Support site testing, go-live, and ramp-up phases.
Project Governance - Working in the Site Implementation teams to:
1. Manage project reporting, including Status, Actions, Risks & Issues.
2. Prepare Board Papers to gain sign-off for investment business cases.
3. Maintain and monitor progress against the Ocado Project Methodology.
4. Report on site safety performance from site occupancy through to go-live.
What are we looking for?
1. A proven engineering project manager with experience in the delivery of significant/complex capital programmes.
2. Planning, cost management, and reporting to a high standard.
3. Experience in engineering, construction, or logistics sectors preferred.
4. Senior stakeholder management experience.
