SCHOOL VACANCY
The Joseph Rowntree School is looking to recruit a friendly, confident, efficient and reliable School Receptionist. This position will be based Front of House and you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school.
You will have good ICT skills (including Microsoft Office), and you must be able to demonstrate a well-organised approach to administration. Previous school office experience using SIMS.net would be an advantage but not essential.
We are looking for a good team player who can work well under pressure and maintain organisation and discipline in the face of conflicting priorities. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing.
You may be required to support colleagues elsewhere in administration in a variety of activities, so flexibility in your approach and a willingness to accept changes in the nature of the job on a day-to-day basis is paramount. You will be required to undertake some word processing/letter writing duties as well as providing a friendly and professional first point of contact on the School Reception; therefore, strong typing skills would be advantageous.
