About the role Join the team at the Institute of Applied Technology as a Customer Service Representative, where you will provide exceptional, customer-focused service to students both in the classroom and virtually. This is a key administrative role that enhances the student experience ensuring a smooth pathway to course completion. Assisting with enrolments, guiding students with information on class times, and supporting attendance are some of the daily, customer focussed tasks of this role. This is a customer facing role and the recommended candidate will need to work 5 days on-site. You will be required to operate on a rotating roster and be flexible around working hours, depending on business requirements. Our standard business hours are 8:00am - 10:00pm to account for our classes and rosters will be created around these times. You will be required to work most nights to support our educators and students and this may also include some Saturdays. About You We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual with a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and articulate presentations to students. You will demonstrate strong presentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting learning both over the phone, the virtual classroom, and face to face classes. Your enthusiasm for engaging with people in online classes to support students remotely is essential. You are approachable, confident, and proactive in contacting students, who are typically more mature learners. You are flexible in your approach, leveraging your previous experience in a high-volume service sector or customer support role. You’re able to demonstrate proficiency in technology, including MS Office, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Call Centre experience will be highly regarded.
