Salary Grade 6 Location: 3 St James Road, Dudley, Service Area / Directorate : Planning Dept, Housing Maintenance, Directorate of Housing and Communities An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12-month fixed term role within the Housing Maintenance department. The role of Reactive Repairs Planner will play an integral part in supporting the department in delivering improvements to tenants homes throughout the borough. Housing and Communities is the landlord for the Council’s owned properties and offers a range of services to tenants and leaseholders. Housing Services includes an in-house maintenance team that delivers a range of repairs and planned improvements to homes throughout the borough, ensuring that homes remain safe, comfortable and energy efficient. The team also undertakes a range of maintenance services to the Council’s other built assets and traded services sites. The post holder will assist in providing a professional customer focused planning service within the Housing Maintenance Planning and Admin Team. Their key focus will be to programme and deploy the workforce to ensure repairs are scheduled and completed within relevant service standards and that appointments are made and kept, ensuring wherever possible that works are completed in line with the right first time philosophy.
