What you'll be doing day to day
You'll work with a diverse client portfolio of commercial businesses up to £300m turnover from owner-managed businesses to listed entities and other corporate clients.
1. Plan and complete statutory audits of corporate clients, both on-site and in the office.
2. Lead the audit team on-site and ensure all audit procedures are followed.
3. Supervise and support the work of junior team members.
4. Real contact time with developing relationships and liaising with people on the client side, including non-accounts employees.
5. Produce work for Manager and/or Partner review.
6. Highlight technical or client-specific issues and provide possible solutions where required.
About you
Your clear communication and strong rapport building skills will be crucial for team-working and delivering excellent client service.
1. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant experience.
2. Experience in using automated audit software and computer-based accounts and tax compilation programmes.
3. Organised and able to plan your own time efficiently.
