Account Manager - Ophthalmology
Location: Field-based covering Suffolk, Norfolk, North & West Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire

We are seeking an Account Manager to oversee sales activities for an advanced diagnostic and surgical product portfolio within clinics and theatres across a designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales and promote products within surgical and outpatient sectors, maximizing market share and customer engagement.
2. Conduct equipment demonstrations and training sessions to support product adoption and utilization.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, biomedical teams, procurement professionals, and regional sales teams.
4. Identify and develop sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage supply agreements to drive revenue growth.
5. Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and emerging industry advancements to inform business strategy.
6. Maintain CRM records and contribute to account planning to optimize sales performance.
7. Participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and workshops to showcase solutions and enhance brand presence.
8. Ensure excellent customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, troubleshooting products, and providing ongoing support.
What We're Looking For:
1. Sales experience in medical devices or healthcare - Previous experience selling technical products in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
2. Strong communication skills - Ability to effectively convey technical product details to a diverse audience.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
1. Background in ophthalmology sales or experience working with optics/medical technology is a plus.
2. A degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, or a related field is desirable. Additional certifications in medical sales or ophthalmology would be advantageous.
