We are delighted to be working with a leading Builders Merchant on a fantastic new position for a landscaping manager of a stunning hard landscaping showroom. We are seeking a professional and forward-thinking Landscape Manager, Do you have management experience as well as knowledge of the Landscaping and Building Industry Purpose of role: To be customer facing and facilitate customer enquiries within the branch either via telephone or trade counter. To pro-actively contact customers in order to promote and sell products, receive and process orders and gather sales information in line with the needs of the business. Key responsibilities include: Counter Sales / Trade Shop: To answer and respond to all customer enquiries To give stock and product information to customers. To fulfil customer requirements in trade shop Perform daily stock checks To replenish and merchandise stock in trade shop. Internal Sales / Telesales: Explain the product or service to potential customers Provide pricing details and quotations Handle customer questions and enquiries Receive orders over the telephone Input order details into the computer system(Bistrack) Record customer details and details of transaction Confirm orders placed with field sales representatives Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers Conduct customer and marketing surveys Answer telephone calls and emails from potential customers who are responding to advertisements / promotions Manage sales enquiry email account Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction Administer Inter-branch stock transfers Transport Administration: Schedule all transport routing in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer/business needs. ·Responsibility for vehicle checking of outgoing loads, perform physical and visual stock check – record and report any variances. Key skills: Proven internal sales experience in the builders merchant sector. Application of practical knowledge of managing, measuring and marketing product categories Self-motivated, driven & hungry to succeed Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills Salary £30,000 Hours 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday Half day every second Saturday.
