About the Roles: As an International Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across non-US markets. Your responsibilities will include: Business Development : Identifying and acquiring new clients in non-US markets, focusing on their specific insurance needs within your area(s) of expertise. This will involve active networking, attending industry events, and leveraging your existing relationships. Client Management : Building and maintaining established client relationships, understanding their evolving needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions. Portfolio Growth : Expanding your book of business by identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients, as well as acquiring new clients across non-US markets. Market Knowledge : Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes that impact non-US markets. Understanding regional risks and opportunities is key. Risk Assessment : Conducting thorough risk assessments to recommend and provide appropriate coverage for your clients. Policy Placement : Leading negotiations with insurers across global markets to secure the best possible coverage and terms for your clients. Policy Servicing : Managing renewals, endorsements, and claims efficiently, working closely with a dedicated administrative support team to ensure seamless execution. Collaboration : Working with internal teams (account managers, underwriters, claims adjusters) to provide exceptional service and support to clients in multiple regions. Compliance : Ensuring full adherence to global regulatory requirements and ethical standards across various international insurance markets. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in insurance sales and business development within non-US markets. In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and market regulations in respect to your specialism. Established client relationships and strong market relationships across non-US regions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with an internal team to drive client success. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
