Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan. You will be responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service to meet NHS standards of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures. You will work within local community hospitals, other inpatient settings, health centres, clinics, and administration areas. You will also be required to relay information that may impact other clinical and non-clinical services. The role will provide you with variety as no two days are the same. In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you to undertake a range of cleaning duties, including general cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics, theatres, office areas, etc.) as well as specialised cleaning processes to include machines, with some specific tasks being tailored to the needs of a particular service and around patient care.

We have a permanent part-time housekeeping vacancy at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Bromsgrove working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 16:00-20:00. We have supportive and passionate teams, and you will receive full training to ensure your success in this role. This is an opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, working alongside our clinical and other non-clinical colleagues to make positive contributions to our patients and staff experience through the provision of a Housekeeping service.
