Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, EU FBA Business

We are thrilled to offer you an opportunity in our team where we endeavour to constantly grow the products that our Customers are looking for, through our Sellers on our Amazon EU Marketplaces. You will have access to interesting datasets from different aspects of a Sellers journey on our marketplaces. You will be able to exploit data to generate insights, find new opportunities, create new initiatives and influence business priorities.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will:
1. Generate data-driven insights to identify new growth opportunities
2. Engage with business stakeholders from cross-functional domains and teams
3. Design and maintain ETL pipelines which consolidate data from different stages of Sellers' journey and experiences on the marketplace
4. Create business dashboards which enable us to achieve our goals and diagnose issues
5. Report on business performance, track KPIs and explain variances
6. Participate in the community of BIEs in the parent team by sharing knowledge, learning new technologies and coaching others

About the team
Our team is responsible for the growth of selection, revenue management (seller fees) and the adoption of the FBA program across our marketplaces. You will support 3-5 product managers within the team who will be your primary customers. In addition, we liaise with several different teams in Amazon's ecosystem that own different products, programs and technologies that our Sellers and Customers interact with. You will also be required to learn about datasets from these partners to identify opportunities to enhance our metrics and insights.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
2. Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
3. Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
4. Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
5. Experience with SQL
6. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
7. Experience in the data/BI space
8. Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with AWS technologies
2. Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.
3. Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
4. Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field
