As a Payroll Advisor (6 month fixed term contract) on a you will be part of a team responding to up to 1,000 queries per week, via phone, email and in house case management software, offering a first-class customer service. As a member of Payroll you will part of an industry leading finance team, standing shoulder to shoulder with the business, guiding decision-making through insight that drives action whilst always championing processes that protect the business and make it easier to get the job done.
**Please be aware this is a 6 month fixed term contract**

Your role as Payroll Advisor
8. Answer phone calls within agree timescales and provide answers to basic queries
9. Respond to emails within two working days and provide answers to basic queries
10. Fill in forms and provide information from third parties inc. government agencies within agreed timescales
11. To assist with any ad-hoc project work as required
12. To complete basic payroll processing as required
What you’ll bring…
13. 1 year high-volume, front facing customer service experience, either face to face or via telephone
14. Good level of IT literacy
15. Good numeric and literacy skills. GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent are essential, further education is desirable
16. Good interpersonal skills and delivery of customer service with proven experience of dealing with a wide variety of customers on the telephone. The ability to communicate at all levels of the business
17. Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
18. Proven team player with high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
19. Organised, methodical, self-motivated, and committed to providing quality service
20. Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; a “can-do” attitude
