Job Responsibilities
1. Competitive hourly rate starting from £13 per hour
2. Full time - Monday - Friday
3. Shift: 7am - 2.30pm

*What you'll be doing*
1. You'll be cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner service
2. Work well as part of a team of chefs, supporting one another and communicating well
3. Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
4. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
5. Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
6. Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
7. To share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for the checking, probing and signing of all food deliveries
8. To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries
9. Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
10. Full knowledge of all menu items served
11. Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
12. Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks
13. Undertake relevant training as required
Qualifications
1. 2 years previous experience in a busy kitchen
2. Excellent team player and communicator
3. A confident chef
4. Security checks & DBS required for this role
5. Flexibility and the ability to innovate
