We are working alongside a well-established, leading and award-winning international commercial law firm who are looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their highly successful commercial litigation team in Liverpool.

Their clients operate in diverse industry sectors such as transport and logistics and international trade, through to retail, insurance, marine, health, education, manufacturing, public sector and banking and financial services.
The team acts for corporate clients in relation to complex litigation both in the UK and internationally, helping them tackle disputes effectively. The successful candidate will assist with a varied caseload from inception to conclusion.
Whilst primarily based in the Liverpool Office, they would expect you to assist clients from across the offices of the firm.
Main duties:
1. Client liaison in person, in writing and over the telephone
2. Communicate with clients, litigants in person, solicitors, counsel, courts and all other interested parties
3. Drafting and proofing documents
4. Instructing Counsel and experts
5. Preparation of reports to clients
6. Negotiation
7. Business development including preparation of articles and insights
8. Undertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the other members of the team
9. May be asked to go on secondment to support our client relationships
About you:
* 1-2 years PQE
* Broad commercial litigation experience
* Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage tasks within set timeframes.
* A commercial, solution-driven and client-focused approach
