An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent practice located on the picturesque borders of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland. This 5-vet practice handles a diverse caseload encompassing competition, leisure, and stud clients, offering a varied and rewarding role for the right candidate.
Based in a historic, affluent market town known for its rich culture, wildlife, and history, the location is ideal for those who appreciate the beauty of the English countryside. With its waterways, parks, and woodlands, this charming area offers an exceptional quality of life, situated on the edge of stunning South Lincolnshire.

The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and gastroscopy, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care. Services include laser sarcoid clinics, competition horse care, strategic worming packages, lameness and pre-purchase examinations, and a range of breeding services. As a BEVA-approved Artificial Insemination Centre, the team collaborates closely with local studs for stallion collections, thoroughbred walk-ins, and foaling services. The practice is staffed by FEI, ARVS, and BEVA-listed vets who are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

The Rota:
• Full time role -Monday - Friday (8.30am-5pm)
• On call weekend shared equally between vets with a day in lieu of on call taken on the Friday after
• Shared on call evenings and bank holidays
