Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Wishaw
Remuneration: £11.64 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary, 2 weeks, 36 hours per week over 4 days - Potential for contract to last longer
Shift Pattern: 8:30am - 6pm
Responsibilities:
Join our clients dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative, where your contributions will directly support their operations and customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers
Breaking down pallets for efficient storage
Picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
Building and wrapping stock onto pallets for delivery
Appropriately storing stock to maintain organisation
Moving stock using manual handling or equipment
Inputting data into their systems
Assisting with stock takes to ensure accuracy
Keeping the warehouse and yard clean and tidy
Collaborating and communicating with different teams daily
Performing general warehouse maintenance tasksEssential Skills & Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Previous experience in a similar warehouse role
Strong manual handling skills
Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
The capability to consistently meet targets
Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
A commitment to following health and safety guidelines
Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts as needed
A full driving licence and driving experience
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Forklift Truck Licence
Familiarity with Kerridge or other WMS/ERP systems
Experience in delivery planning
