YOUR ROLE
Our air freight operation based in Hounslow is looking for an enthusiastic Air Customer Service Administrator where you will manage air import shipments, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients, and provide exceptional customer service.
This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 05:30pm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting to the Air Import Customer Service Supervisor you will focus on operational processes, acting as the key contact with customers, supporting with customs clearance procedures and confirming delivery requirements.
1. Manage and monitor shipment progress, ensuring customers are kept informed at every milestone of the process.
2. Deal with customer complaints, requests, and queries offering swift remedial actions.
3. Support with financial processes, ensuring all information including quotes or billing instructions are accurately in place for invoicing files.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have experience of operating in a fast-paced airfreight department. You will have strong knowledge of import activities and customs clearance procedures to help support our customers. You will have the ability to adhere to tight timescales, be highly organized, able to problem solve and build effective relationships. You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office based programs and experience with Cargowise system would be highly advantageous.
