Byrnhill Grove, Ventnor, Isle of Wight We are looking for a naturally caring individual who's dedicated to helping others to join our amazing team of care and support workers at our extra care scheme in Ventnor. As Senior Care Worker you will assist the Registered Manager onsite to deliver a high level of care for our elderly and frail residents, ensuring care is compliant with CQC regulations and that all health & safety protocol is adhered to. The location You will be based at Byrnhill Grove on the Isle of Wight. You will require a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. The role will entail shift working including night shifts from 8pm-8am and day shifts from 7.45am-8pm. You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. What youll be doing Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to line manage staff including supervision, appraisals, absence monitoring, and providing them with appropriate support and training to ensure their continuing personal and professional development as well as compliance with regulations Maintain awareness of all legislative and contractual agreements for effective and quality service provision Monitor and assist with the development of resident involvement, daily activities and social inclusion within the wider community Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the assessment of potential residents if required Provide care to residents, as identified in their person-centred care plan as necessary. This will include intimate personal care Responsible for ensuring the delivery of care that promotes independence, rights, choices and inclusion in their community.
