We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team in Dublin as a Head of Operations to help develop and grow our ongoing expanding business in Ireland.
You will be required to lead our 2 onsite 24 hour operations teams. This will include the introduction and implementation of all operational procedures, governance and processes.
In addition you will work closely with the General Manager and the Commercial team to lead and implement the short and long term strategies reviewing tender documents and forecasting documentation.
You will join our operations teams onsite, Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do…
* Work closely with Human Resource Manager to guide the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive and productive environment
* Manage the relationship with senior key stakeholders including the commercial project team, clients and the local authorities
* Ensure the operational processes remain legally compliant with regulations and standards
* Responsible for the overall budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maintain financial stability while negotiating,purchasing, and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize the company’s productivity and performance Analysing data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
* Identify network growth and development opportunities and new/emerging contracts within the Irish market.
* Implement the delivery of the strategy of National Express Ireland and help build the business beyond Dublin Express &; ATS, while also developing and implementing additional strategies that align with organisational goals
* Liaise and consult with our marketing teams to develop and grow online and offline brand presence for Dublin Express Brand awareness
What you’ll need…
* Experience in a Senior Leadership role including strong People Management and Organisational skills (transport, travel or an airport setting ideal)
* Experience in project and bid management
* Working understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Analytical skills and creativity
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Building strong business relationships both internally and externally
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Project management (desirable)
