MX is the underwriting arm of SRG Group, responsible for underwriting commercial risks in support of our capacity providers and broker partners.
About the Role
MX Motorsport is a motorsport-specific product within the MX family, based on a portfolio of business supporting the motorsport sector. We are looking for a keen and detail-focused underwriting assistant to join the business with a view to moving into underwriting, who can support the growth of this account.
About You
* You will be keen to learn, and ideally be aiming to grow into an underwriting role in due course.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are required as direct contact with brokers will be needed.
* Attention to detail is key as we aim to provide exceptional service to our clients and customers.
* Basic knowledge of the insurance market is a requirement, and ideally some understanding of the underwriting process would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Client Director by handling administrative responsibilities for customers within the account, including:
* Updating underwriting systems.
* Managing Quote documents and Policy documents.
* Preparing packs for the Client Director of presented risks with relevant details included.
* Liaising with brokers to ensure that prepared quotes meet expectations.
* Building and maintaining relationships with customers through direct contact with brokers.
* Delivering documentation that is accurate, on time, and meets client expectations.
* Maintaining various stakeholder documents to allow for swift bordereau and finance management and clarification of deadlines.
