Our client is looking for an experienced Residential Manager to assist with the running and managing of a well-established, family-run residential care home.
The applicant should ideally possess the following skills and experience:
1. Previous Registered Management experience within a similar role.
2. Proven record of maintaining or improving CQC inspection rating.
3. Proven record of maintaining or improving occupancy levels.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills – have authority, management presence and be able to gain respect of staff, motivate, supervise, instruct and if necessary discipline staff.
5. Information Technology skills – to be computer literate.
6. Have a sound understanding of the CQC’s key lines of enquiry for adult social care.
7. Have knowledge of how to process complaints and the procedures to follow.
8. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
