Regional Sales Manager
The Client:
A global engineering brand with a huge presence in the UK and a market-leading range of products and services. They have significant engineering capability and lead the field in terms of product development and innovation. They retain staff extremely well due to the culture and environment they create and because of the progression and incentives on offer to all staff.
The Role:
This is a strategic sales development role where you will initially be given responsibility for some existing accounts from both an OEM and Aftermarket perspective. That said, the main thrust of this role is to acquire new accounts from large engineering verticals like Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and General Industry. You will engage at Senior Engineering/Director level to understand your clients’ business, their plans, their drivers, etc., before providing a suite of solutions that solve problems and provide a significant ROI.
You will be backed up with sales and marketing support, commensurate with the size and scale of this global market-leading business. You will be impressed by the overall career opportunity on offer.
The Person:
It’s likely that you are a proven Strategic Business Development person with experience of selling engineered components/systems to engineering markets.
The Rewards:
A basic salary of around £40,000 is on offer with an OTE in year 2 of around £60 – 65,000. Also included in your package is a company car, private healthcare, and pension with a host of other ancillary benefits.
