About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Adviser to deliver proactive, solution-focused HR services to our clients. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will be instrumental in guiding school and academy leaders through a wide range of HR matters, helping them achieve sustainable and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities for this role include;
1. Delivering high-quality HR consultancy services across a range of complex casework and strategic projects.
2. Providing expert advice on disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence, conduct, organisational change, workforce planning, terms and conditions (teaching and support staff), contract management, pay and reward, and more.
3. Designing, developing and implementing clear, practical HR policies, procedures and guidance tailored to client needs.
4. Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their context, risks, and priorities to offer effective solutions.
5. Collaborating with trade unions and stakeholders to resolve HR issues constructively and strategically.
About You

6. Hold a relevant degree or professional management qualification, or demonstrate significant equivalent experience in an HR advisory role in either an educational or public sector environment.
7. Have excellent IT skills and strong commercial awareness.
8. Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and case law and articulate how it applies to client situations.
9. Be experienced in delivering HR services (in either an educational or local authority setting) as a sold service model.
10. Be confident managing multiple HR cases, often complex, with minimal supervision.
11. Communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with clients and stakeholders.
12. Be a team player with a flexible, proactive approach and excellent organisational skills.
