Weare looking for a conscientious and committedprofessional that believes all children can achieve high standards andtherefore demonstrates consistently high expectations of allpupils in all aspects of school life. The contract isto begin ideally on Monday 4th November, subject to relevant checksbeing completed, although we appreciate some applicants may have to serve 4weeks' notice in current roles so we can be flexible to allow notice to beworked. Working hoursare 33.5 hours per week, term time only, following Derbyshire term dates. Thisis 8:30-3:30pm everyday with a 30 min lunchbreak. On Wednesdays, the finish time is 4:30pm to enable attendance at the KeyStage meeting. There may be opportunities to add additional hours up to amaximum of 37 hours per week following annual budget reviews although this cannotbe guaranteed.Duties will include general classroom supportfor all pupils, facilitating class teaching as well as individual and smallgroup interventions for pupils requiring additional help, including workingwith children with a range of Special Educational Needs. The successfulcandidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with the ClassTeacher. Understanding of the KS2 curriculum, vocabulary and differentapproaches as well as a good understanding of Statutory assessments for KS2pupils is essential.
