Due to continued growth within our Grangemouth and Chapelhall branches, we are looking for an Approved Electrician/Electrician for work on upcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in their relevant trade, be able to work to tight timescales, use their own initiative and provide customers with the highest standard of quality work. The candidate will also have the relevant qualifications to be registered as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
* Small jobbing works to full rewires.
* Working to strict timescales.
* Working as part of a team and on their own initiative.
* Completing NICEIC Minor Works and Electrical Installation Condition Report certification.
* Dealing with a wide range of people including Surveyors, Contracts Managers and customers.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the right to work in this country and must possess:
* City & Guilds 2382 - B.S. 7671 IEE Wiring regulations (18th Edition)
* Level 3 award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* At least 5 years previous experience in a similar role
* Full, clean UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications:
* Ability to perform electrical duties to a high standard
* Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
* Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational skills
* Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
This position includes company vehicle, uniform and full PPE along with an attractive rate of pay, pension and paid holiday allowance.
