An exciting opportunity to join a small team providing day to day care for both in work and retired horses whilst working towards your level 2 qualification. Tasks include general stable management, assisting the vet, working horses from the ground and assisting with events.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Changing rugs
* Turnout and bringing in
* Mucking out
* Making/soaking hay nets
* Making feeds and feeding
* Grooming
* Assisting the vet
* Working horses from the ground (lunge, long rein, work in hand.)
* Clipping and trimming

Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
* English (grade 2 or E)
* Maths (grade 2 or E)

Other requirements
