Hospice in Your Home (HIYH) Palliative Care Assistant
Hours: 18 – 36 hours per week worked over two – four 9-hour shifts. Shifts worked across a 7 day / 3-shift roster. Monday to Sunday (early) 7.00am-4.00pm, (late) 4.00pm-1.00am and (Night) 10.00pm -7.00am.
About Us: Nottinghamshire Hospice leads the provision of compassionate, community palliative care to those who are dying in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire from a terminal or life-limiting illness. Our values are embedded throughout the organisation – Compassion, Trust, and Ambition.
This Role: You will work within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families. You will be part of a supportive and fun team where everyone is valued for their unique skills and experience. You do not need palliative care experience as we offer a comprehensive induction package.
Our Hospice in Your Home Team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes. The successful postholder will work shifts across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.

Minimum Requirements: You must have Health Care Assistant experience and possess a minimum of a Care Certificate Qualification. Support will be given to the postholder to develop their career ambitions. You must possess a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
