Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to recruit a Finance Director for a high growth PE backed business based in Aberdeen.
Following the recent appointment of a highly experienced, commercial and change oriented CFO with a proven track record in Private Equity, this is a newly created role that will lead a period of finance transformation, bedding in best practice, driving efficiencies and supporting a newly established executive team to deliver an ambitious growth agenda.

The role:
The Finance Director will be responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction of our client's global business, ensuring the financial health, sustainability, and growth of the organisation.
Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and audit functions, this role is pivotal in driving the financial strategy, supporting the executive team, and ensuring robust financial governance and compliance.
Reporting to a highly experienced CFO, the Finance Director will manage, develop, and nurture the finance team, predominantly based between Aberdeen and Kuala Lumpur.
The Finance Director will be responsible for transforming the function following a period of significant change.
Our ideal candidate:
To be considered for this unique opportunity you must have:
1. A proven track record of transforming and streamlining finance functions in high-growth environments, in a multi-national setting
2. Clear experience in leading financial strategy to support both organic and acquisitive growth
3. Prior experience of managing relationships with private equity investors (M&A and Due Diligence experience beneficial)
4. Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
5. Strong leadership and team management skills
6. Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
8. High level of integrity and professionalism
