About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plumber to join our Repairs team covering central Manchester. This is a permanent full-time vacancy working 39 hours a week, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-3:30pm Friday. Candidates must have additional skills in joinery and tiling and a full UK driving licence. You will need to be local to central Manchester to ensure you can reach our customers home in a timely manner. Youll not only be an experienced Plumber, but youll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. Youll also be able to demonstrate the below essential experience: Competence within required primary trade. Various multi-trade skills, sufficient to enable the completion first time fix. Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets. Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information. Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time management skills. Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required. Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. Ability to operate safely having considered any environmental circumstances and possible risks. Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours. Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: Experience of working within the social housing sector. Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
