About The Role
As the HR System Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert in Human Resource Management systems, serving as the technical point of contact for the Human Resources department, developing, supporting and maintaining all HR systems.
Development of our technology is key, and having a solid knowledge of integration with other HR systems is a key objective in order to deliver a first-class Colleague experience using technology.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Supporting with the implementation and delivery of digital HR tools required to enhance the capability of the HR function and colleague experience
* Administering, configuring, maintaining and governing the HR system which includes employee records, case management and benefits
* System optimisation through continuously evaluating HR systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency and enhancement of the colleague experience
* Monitoring all system capability including implantation of system upgrades and updates
* Liaising with third party providers and suppliers to resolve all issues, escalating where applicable and providing timely business updates as needed
* Supporting with delivering data integrity and security through ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all HR data
* Leading on system support and training, ensuring all new starters and managers across the business understand how this works. Delivering training sessions as required supported by the design of system guides and documents for colleagues to reference at any time, ensuring these are updated as and when required
* Ensuring full integration and reporting through collaboration and partnering with our DDAT function allowing other business areas and systems to integrate with HR and organisation systems
* Ad hoc reporting of metrics agreed by the business to enable decision making across HC-One
* Providing supportive and clear guidance and advice for colleagues and managers for our HR systems
* Keeping updated on all HR compliance and regulations ensuring that our systems are aligned to legal and industry standards
* Providing recommendations from system reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

About You
Ideally qualified to CIPD Level 3, you have at least 5 years experience in a HR, People or Systems role and experience of working with HR data sets, and have an excellent knowledge of HR systems.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, helping you to build good working relationships and work with all levels of stakeholders and 3rd party providers / suppliers. With excellent forward planning and organisational skills, you can manage your own workload, prioritising work effectively to meet varying deadlines.
You possess initiative and drive and have a strong desire to continuously improve processes & deliver against agreed objectives/service levels. You have strong problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills and can manage reporting regimes and suggest customisations to meet business needs.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
