Finance Solutions
Our Finance Managed Services team is a team of finance professionals who run the finance functions of our client’s businesses. We partner with our clients bringing our best practice and technology to help minimise the burden on their organisation. Our team of qualified and trainee accountants at all grades is based in Belfast, and we work with a range of UK and global clients across various industries, providing essential functions, supporting systems and processes and generating the business’ accounts and reports.

In Finance Solutions you’ll:
1. Play a key role in running the accounting and finance functions of our client’ organisations as part of our Finance Managed Services team.
2. Get experience across all aspects of accounting, including transactional posting, producing monthly management accounts and information, including bank reconciliations, VAT, PAYE, month end accounting and regularly liaising with your clients.
3. Get the opportunity to work on a range of businesses operating across various industries, including hospitality, IT, financial services, and retail.
4. Apply what you’re learning in your professional studies in a real-life environment, supported by your team members.
We’ll provide professional development and on the job training which will complement your studies towards your accounting qualification. You’ll work on a range of SME and innovative start-up companies operating across a broad range of industries.
What you’ll gain
In your first two years in Finance Solutions, you’ll study towards the Accounting Technician qualification from Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI), with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
Through this you’ll develop your understanding of accounting and business while also developing technical, finance and taxation skills that you’ll apply to your day-to-day work. On completion of the ATI qualification many of our team members progress onto complete the Chartered Accountants Ireland Qualification over the following three years.
Minimum starting salary of £23,900, plus benefits.
What you’ll need
Minimum requirements are 112 UCAS tariff from up to three full A-Levels or equivalent (not including General Studies or Critical Thinking), and a Grade C or 4 or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
Exams must have been taken in the same sitting and resits are accepted only where modules or papers have been retaken in the same academic year. If you have any extenuating circumstances related to your exam marks or the sequencing of your exams, please declare this on your application and this will be considered as we review your application.
When to apply
Once you have submitted your application you’ll have seven days to complete the online test, this is the first stage of our recruitment process.
Assessment centres for this role will take place between 18 December 2023 – 28 January 2024 or 19 February – 4 March 2024. We expect to be able to give you at least a week’s notice to attend.
