About This Role:
* Develop strong connections with Global Purchasing to identify strategies and cultivate suppliers worldwide and locally.
* Gather market intelligence, pinpoint major categories, analyze current spend, and devise an optimal Indirect Strategy Plan.
* Deliver the strategy through supplier relationships and multiple projects (CAPEX, Service, Energy, Maintenance, T&L contracts).
* Focus on and execute strategic proactive tenders for identified Indirect approved suppliers and purchase spend.
* Lead negotiations, supplier selection, and align functional requirements (cost challenges, warranty, payment terms).
* Increase control and management of Service Contracts (best practice, avoid termination penalties, YOY cost reductions).
* Collaborate with Indirect Senior Purchasing Manager and internal functions to establish QCD targets, objectives, and deliver against targets KPIs.
* Manage day-to-day issues with plant personnel for improved quality and logistical performance.
* Support Purchasing Officer for continuous improvements in supplier quality and OTIF for indirect parts.
* Oversee release of Indirect Purchase Orders from SAP system when required.
Key Requirements:
* A degree-level education and 5+ years of experience in indirect Purchasing within a manufacturing environment are essential.
* A strong leader with negotiation experience, excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is vital.
* Industrial awareness and capacity to investigate new supply markets for cost reductions and supply rationalization is crucial.
* A full driving license is mandatory.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, to attract talented professionals like you.
