We have exciting opportunities immediately available for part time, 1 year fixed term Band 4 Assistant Psychologists who are looking to develop their clinical skills in the community. The service currently operates between Monday – Friday (9am-5pm) You will be joining a busy, happy, high performing and well-regarded community based Surrey-wide child and adolescent eating disorders service based in Epsom, comprising of a Service Manager, Consultants, Nurses, Dieticians, Psychologists and Family Therapists and Psychotherapists. You will be working alongside other Assistant Psychologists, Band 7 and band 8a Clinical Psychologist and the MDT to help deliver the core purpose of the service in line with the NHSE Access and Waiting Times NHS England Guidelines. Access to the use of a car would be helpful. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, produce reports for CCG and NHSE on the Access and Waiting Times data, collection of statistics and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. You will support the existing system for collecting and analyzing outcome data in addition to developing a database to measure the outcomes of a new arm of our treatment pathway. You will be required to carry out direct clinical work with young people with eating disorders. Further opportunities to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing assistance for group work, psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
